All About Me
My name is Brian Boyle, and I’m proud to have been born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario.
I am a retired Paramedic and Ambulance Dispatcher with Peterborough Ambulance. During my years in health care, I witnessed firsthand the courage of children facing difficult moments and the compassion shown by those who cared for them. Those experiences inspired me to become Santa Claus. I wanted to bring comfort, joy, and a little magic to children not only in times of need, but in the happiest moments of their lives.
Christmas has always been close to my heart. Even as a young boy, the season filled me with wonder. I was born on June 25 — known as Leon Day, with “Leon” being “Noel” spelled backwards — the halfway point to Christmas. How perfect is that? It feels as though I was destined to wear the red suit.
I am a proud Platinum member of the Worldwide Santa Claus Network, where I continue to train and grow in my craft. My ongoing education includes courses such as:
-
Getting the Best Photo
-
Special Needs Awareness
-
Becoming a Brand Ambassador
-
Virtual Visits & Video Messaging
-
Storytelling
-
And more
These skills help me bring authenticity, warmth, and a touch of Christmas magic to every visit.
